The sweet and aromatic nectar of the ancient Sidr tree, found in the Wadi Do’An, a valley in the Hadramout region of Yemen, has always been of Islamic religious significance. Mentioned several times in the Quran, this is a smooth, viscous medium to dark amber color honey with a robust, smoky, and aromatic taste. This honey contains flavonoids and antioxidants which help to reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease, and regulate blood pressure.
